Lakeffects was started by a family of people who grew up going to the lake and passed that tradition of love and enjoyment of the lake down to each generation.  Growing up, going to the lake meant having fun boating, fishing, swimming, and just getting away from it all. No one was in a hurry at the lake. There were no phones to answer and no deadlines to meet. Best of all, it was family time. The lake’s effect on us was a sense of happiness and comfort, and it still is. Lakeffects came about because we wanted comfortable clothes and fun accessories that reminded us of that lake feeling, even when we can’t be there. It was our way to “Vacation a Little Everyday”.
